Looking for some ways to enjoy summer without breaking the bank? A trip to a theme park could cost you hundreds of dollars, concerts have become so expensive, and even camping or beach days can add up. Well this activity in Clearwater will cost you less than $10 and it's happening all summer long.
Those who grew up in the Tampa Bay area know how fun and affordable minor league baseball games can be. And one of my favorite summer past times is $1 Tuesdays at the Clearwater Thresher's games.
Every Tuesday home game is $1 Tuesdays. This fan favorite special includes $1 admission tickets, $1 hot dogs, 16 oz. fountain sodas, 12 oz. domestic drafts (21+), peanuts, popcorn, chips, and ice cream sandwiches.

Advice Before Going To $1 Tuesdays Clearwater Threshers Games:
If you plan to take advantage of this cheap activity this summer then you should know a few things.
- Get there early! Gates open at 5:30 with first pitch at 6:30. If you don't get there before the first inning then you're likely to spend 3-4 innings just waiting in line for $1 hot dogs.
- You can't buy the $1 tickets online, they are only available at the box office. Another reason to get there early.
- Parking for Bay Care Ball Park is $5 (yes, more expensive than the ticket). And the parking lot and overflow lots fill up FAST! So take our word when we say get there EARLY!
- Bring an umbrella or poncho in case it rains, which is pretty often in the summertime in Florida.
The Clearwater Threshers also run other great promotions throughout the week. On Thursdays they have Taps and Tacos special that features local breweries on tap. Thursday's is also half-price beverages at the Frenchy's Tiki Pavilion. And select Friday's they are hosting "Beach Dog Fridays", where you can bring your pup to the game, each dog ticket benefits a local pet charity! School's out and now it's time to figure out what to have your kids do for the summer. Hopefully you have them signed up for a summer camp around Tampa Bay, but if not, there is another option for you. AMC Theatres is bringing back their popular $3 summer movie camp.
This is the perfect fix for summer boredom and a great way to escape the heat or hide away on a rainy day. You should know that they don't show any new releases for these deals, but it's still always a fun outing for the family.
How Does The $3 Summer Movie Camp Work?
No sign ups or registration required! Just buy your tickets online or at the box office like you would for going to any other movie night. The $3 deal only runs on Monday's and Wednesdays throughout the summer.

AMC has more ways to keep your kids entertained. They have a downloadable coloring page with a word search, and a schedule of the family favorite showings all summer. Click here to download.
If you plan on going to see movies all summer long, you might as well sign up to be an AMC Stubs member. You get tons of perks with your membership and can buy a refillable popcorn bucket to bring with you to the summer movie camp!
