A hot dog eating contest in Bradenton is happening in less than two weeks. Have you ever dreamed about being in a hot dog eating contest? Now is your chance!
The City of Bradenton is actively looking for people who would like to show off their competitive eating skills. It’s the city’s first hot dog eating contest. You can show your stuff at this local event, The Bradenton Baseball Mayor’s Classic, happening on July 3rd. Get ready to celebrate our great nation’s independence at this exciting event the day before the Fourth of July.
Along with the City of Bradenton, other organizations are joining this cool event, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, and their minor league affiliate team, the Bradenton Marauders.
We were trying to talk Fester, who is on the MJ Morning Show, into entering the hot-dog eating contest in Bradenton. Although he appears to have the appetite (size) to perform in competitive eating contests.
Now, they are on the hunt for 20 competitors to channel their inner Joey Chestnut and take on the challenge — to finish as many hot dogs as possible in 10 minutes.
The event will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at 5:30 p.m. at LECOM Park’s Cool Today Lounge. Following the contest, the Bradenton Marauders will play at 6:30 p.m., with fireworks to top off the night.

What do you need to know about the hot-dog eating contest in Bradenton? It will cost $25 to enter. And nice cash prizes are available. First place is three hundred dollars. The second place winner will earn two hundred dollars. And third place will yield one hundred dollars. Don’t expect that you’ll be able to fancy up your hot-dog with mustard, ketchup, mayo, relish, or any other condiment.
