3 Reasons To Love ZooTampa’s Australia
I took my kids to ZooTampa’s Australia for the first time this week even though it’s been open since March of this year.
There are rides and features that cater to kids and families. We found three things about ZooTampa’s Australia that we love.
First, the food and drink options in Australia are now my favorite. The Outpost Grab & Go Market makes the dining experience user-friendly with delicious options for kids and adults like Mac -n-cheese with BBQ pork and easy grab-and-go hummus and pretzel packs. And the Boomerang Bar offers food options as well as some delicious slushy Margaritas and other adult beverages.
Best Non-Animal Attractions In ZooTampa’s Australia
Our second category we loved in Australia were two rides. The Tasmanian Tiger Coaster is perfect for first-time rollercoaster riders. Some drops, some thrills, some speed but nothing that’s going to make you dizzy or lose your lunch. We also loved Boomer’s Flying Banans for the kids to ride solo. Roaring Springs is always going to be my favorite (non-animal) ride at ZooTampa, but Tasmanian Tiger Coaster coast was fun and family friendly.
As far as animal experiences go, we love the Aussie Trek, brought to you by Outback Steakhouse. You don’t have to travel to the Outback to find out what an Australian safari feels like. You can go on safari right here in Tampa, Florida at ZooTampa’s Australia.
Those are our three favorite things about ZooTampa’s Australia, but an extra bonus for moms who need a nursing or parenting room, the Lil Joey Family Stop offers privacy for small children and parents. And to cool off on a hot summer day in Tampa, the Billabong Splash Pad is the spot, no mater your age.
