Gasparilla Pirate Fest begins with the thrilling Gasparilla Invasion, honoring the legendary pirate Jose Gaspar. Over 750 pirates aboard the majestic Jose Gasparilla storm Tampa Bay, marking the start of the festivities. The parade starts at Bay to Bay and Bayshore Boulevard, travels downtown to Brorein Street, and concludes at Cass Street and Ashley Drive.
