Looking for things to do in June? This month brings a wave of shows to Tampa Bay. There are plenty of opprotunities to see all kinds of shows. Whether you're into classic rock, country, hip-hop, or need some laughs, there's something for everyone happening in Tampa.

Rock Concerts

Metal titans Metallica lead the charge with back-to-back nights at Raymond James Stadium on June 6 and 8. Each night packs a different punch. The first show starts with Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills. Night two sees Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies fire up the crowd.

Music icons fill the mid-month calendar. Lou Gramm, once Foreigner's voice, plays the Palladium on June 18. Yes frontman Jon Anderson stops at Ruth Eckerd Hall on June 20. Beatles great Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band light up BayCare Sound on June 21. Pop punk queen Avril Lavigne hits Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre June 20.

Hip-Hop

Wu-Tang Clan storms Amalie Arena June 10. Just days before, country star Dierks Bentley takes over Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 6.

Soul legend Dionne Warwick graces the Seminole Hard Rock Event Center on June 18. On June 27, hip-hop artist Adrian Younge brings beats to Bayboro Brewing.

Country Music

The start of concert season continues with Dierks Bentley will be at the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre June 6. Old Dominion plays BayCare Sound on June 7. 

Comedy & Theater

Broadway hit "Shucked" runs at the Straz Center June 3-6. At the Palladium Theater, the St. Petersburg Opera Company stages "Carmen" with full orchestra backing on June 6, 8, 13, and 15.

Comic powerhouse Nikki Glaser hits town hard. She'll crack up crowds at Mahaffey Theater with double shows on June 12 and 13. Then she moves to BayCare Sound in Clearwater on June 14.
