A two-mile waterfront path in Clearwater now bears the name of wrestling icon Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, who died this past July. At Hulk's Hangout restaurant, Gov. Ron DeSantis made the announcement on Oct. 3.

Stretching from Clearwater to Clearwater Beach on Memorial Causeway, the path features workout stations painted in the wrestler's trademark red and yellow. Short rest stops dot the trail, giving walkers spots to catch their breath while taking in water views. This trail naming follows the state's move to mark Aug. 1 as Hulk Hogan Day.

"It shows that his memory is going to live a long time. I mean, it was always said, 'Hulkamania is gonna live forever,'" said DeSantis, according to The Independent.

At 71, Bollea suffered a fatal heart attack at his Clearwater residence. While police have looked into the circumstances since late August, questions linger about his death. Just months before, in May, he underwent surgery on his spine.

His son Nick shared thoughts about the tribute. "Clearwater was always home for him. No matter how far he traveled around the world or where his career took him, he always was grounded here," Nick said per WTSP.

The star built his name through wrestling matches, TV spots, and local businesses. His mark on Tampa Bay included spots like Hogan's Beach Shop and the Hulk's Hangout bar.

Court papers show Nick Bollea and Sky Daily, Terry's widow, want 90 more days to check if poor medical care played a role in his death, reports the Tallahassee Democrat.

From Oak Avenue to Coronado Drive, the path offers fitness stops that match the spirit of Bollea's famous words about staying strong through prayer and vitamins. Benches and water stations make the trail good for quick walks or long workouts.
