Tampa Bay Offers Workshops, Brunches, and Waterfront Dining for Mother’s Day

Tampa Bay will host dozens of Mother's Day events from May 1 through May 10. Bouquet-building workshops, candle-pouring classes, high teas, and brunches on the water fill the calendar. Six signature restaurants at Tampa Marriott Water Street Collection anchor the lineup, with venues scattered across the region, per Tampa Magazines.

Workshop events kick off May 1 with a cookie decorating class at Ellie Mae's Bakery. On May 2, a floral workshop at Gemma Floral + Wine gives all moms a glass of prosecco while they create bouquets. Armature Works will host a Mommy and Me High Tea May 3, featuring a fashion show, princess experiences, and crafts benefiting Redefining Refuge.

Central Park St. Pete Food Hall will hold a Bubbles & Bouquets Workshop May 7 through The Roaming Petal. Guests get a hands-on floral workshop with sparkling wine. Chef & the Baker South Tampa will present The Art of Caviar the same day, featuring premium selections, Champagne service, and a take-home caviar kit.

Board & Brush Wesley Chapel will run Mother's Day & Mimosas sessions May 8-9. Guests choose wood projects from a gallery and follow step-by-step instructions. AR Workshop Tampa will host a candle-pouring and DIY workshop on May 9, allowing guests to create custom candle scents and complete a project like a mini plank tray or canvas pillow.

Art Paper Scissors Land O' Lakes will offer a Mommy & Me Art Class May 9. Sur La Table will teach guests how to make berry shortcakes and meringue roses from scratch the same day.

Brunch options May 10 include 15th Street Farm, which will serve a communal farm brunch with a small farm tour and family-style seating. The Dan will feature live music, a traditional brunch, and an indulgences bar with various cakes and pastries. All moms receive a free mimosa.

Driftlight Steakhouse will offer a breakfast buffet with seafood, carving and omelet stations, plus hot breakfast selections and desserts. Maestro's Restaurant at the Straz Center will serve a family-friendly brunch with chef-attended stations and bottomless Champagne and mimosas.

Yacht StarShip will run two-hour brunch cruises in Tampa and Clearwater May 10. The cruises feature a chef-prepared buffet, drinks, DJ entertainment, and scenic views. Rusty Pelican will serve a three-course chef's brunch with $30 bottomless mimosas.
