Here are some great concerts coming to the Tampa area featuring your favorite Q105 artists... along with a few that are worth the road trip! Got one I missed? Drop me a line on Facebook.
May 1 & 2: A Flock of Seagulls
They have a few hits you'll remember, but the big one people will be waiting for of course is "I Ran (So Far Away)." This is another show that's part of the Epcot spring concert lineup at Disney World.
May 3: David Lee Roth
The wild frontman for Van Halen in the 80s plays Hard Rock Live in Orlando.
May 7: Guns N' Roses
GnR headlines the Welcome to Rockville lineup at Daytona International Speedway. Other acts performing that weekend include Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Alice Cooper, Yellowcard and The Offspring.
May 9: Pop 2000 Tour
Relive the MTV TRL era with Chris from NSync, O-Town, Ryan Cabrera and LFO at Busch Gardens.
May 15: Journey
We lost count of all Journey's big Q105 hits... "Don't Stop Believin'," "Open Arms," "Separate Ways"... there are just too many to count. The band's farewell tour has two Florida stops. The first is here in Tampa at Benchmark International Arena (formerly Amalie Arena) and then they'll play Jacksonville the next night.
July 10: Train
A big night of 90s Q105 hits like "Drops of Jupiter" and "Meet Virginia" when Train comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Barenaked Ladies ("One Week") opens the show with Matt Nathanson too.
July 15: Styx and Chicago
The Windy Cities Tour comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Let's hope there's a nice summer wind that night... outdoor concerts in July in Tampa can be pretty humid!
July 18: Men at Work
It'll be a night of iconic 80s Q105 hits like "Who Can It Be Now" and "Down Under." Opening the show at Coachman Park will be Toad the Wet Sprocket.
July 22: Lionel Richie and Earth Wind & Fire
The "Sing a Song All Night Long" Tour comes to Benchmark International Arena in Tampa (formerly Amalie Arena). If weeknight shows don't fit your schedule, the tour makes a stop in Orlando at the Kia Center July 25.
August 1: Freestyle Explosion
Q105's biggest party of the year is back! I'll be your host as the legends from the dance club return to Tampa for a night of 80s and 90s hits at The Yuengling Center at USF. Live performances by Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, TKA and more!
August 1: Toto
A triple bill... see Toto with Christopher Cross and The Romantics at the Amphitheatre in Tampa. Yeah another outdoor show so hopefully we'll feel a sea breeze when Christopher Cross performs "Sailing."
August 3: John Mellencamp
The Dancing Words Tour comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. This one is labeled as "The Greatest Hits" tour and John has a ton of Q105 hits like "Jack and Diane," "Hurts So Good," and "Pink Houses."
August 5: Bryan Adams
If you missed his Roll With The Punches tour stop in Tampa last year, Bryan and Pat Benatar are playing the Kia Center in Orlando.
August 14: Motley Crue
That whole retirement from touring thing was short-lived. The 80s glam rock gods are bringing the Return of the Carnival of Sins tour to Florida with performances by Tesla & Extreme.
August 24: Goo Goo Dolls
They had a bunch of big Q105 hits in the 90s like "Name," "Iris" and "Slide." There are 2 Florida dates on the tour, including a Tampa stop at the Amphitheatre.
September 1: Blues Traveler
A big night of Q105 90's hits with Blues Traveler ("Runaround," "Hook"), Gin Blossoms ("Hey Jealousy," "Until I Hear It From You") and Spin Doctors ("Two Princes," "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong") at Coachman Park in Clearwater.
September 23: TLC
3 Q105 Saturday Night Dance Party favorites from the 90s in one night. The "It's Iconic" tour comes to the Amp in Tampa with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue.
November 14: UB40
Their 80s covers of "Red Red Wine" and "The Way You Do The Things You Do" are Q105 favorites. See The Unstoppable Tour at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete.
November 26: Sting
This is the rescheduled date for the show originally planned for November 10, 2025 at the Hard Rock in Tampa. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.
