Q105 Concerts

Here are some great concerts coming to the Tampa area featuring your favorite Q105 artists... along with a few that are worth the road trip! Got one I missed? Drop me a line on Facebook or email geno@myQ105.com.

January 29: Pat Benatar
She's got loads of Q105 hits like "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" (although she doesn't do that one in concert), "Shadows of the Night" and "We Belong." See her at an intimate setting at the Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.

February 18: Boy George & Culture Club
With so many iconic Q105 '80s hits like "Miss Me Blind," "Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me?" and "Karma Chameleon," this is going to be a fun night. It's rare for George to play a venue as intimate as the Hard Rock. Since their inception in 1981, Culture Club have sold more than 150 million records worldwide.

March 3: Rod Stewart
He's coming back to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino again! With loads of Q105 hits over the years like "Maggie May" and "Hot Legs," you know tickets will be hard to come by for this show. Rod doesn't play intimate venues like this often... except in Tampa. He's done these special shows right around Valentines Day for the past few years. The first time he walked out on stage at the Hard Rock and saw the limited seating, he joked "I am getting my normal fee, right?"

March 5: Billy Ocean
So many great Q105 '80s hits... "Caribbean Queen," "When The Going Gets Tough," "Loverboy," "Suddenly," and "Get Outta My Dreams." Billy often plays those Epcot concerts at Disney World, but this time you can catch him closer to home at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.

March 7: Bret Michaels from Poison
Bret returns to Coachman Park in Clearwater with opening act Tesla. Expect to hear all you favorite Q105 Poison hits like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Talk Dirty To Me," "Nothin’ but a Good Time" and more.

March 8: Joan Jett
See the legendary Q105 hitmaker ("I Love Rock n' Roll," "I Hate Myself For Loving You," and "Bad Reputation") and get some strawberry shortcake when The Godmother of Punk plays the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.

May 15: Journey
We lost count of all Journey's big Q105 hits... "Don't Stop Believin'," "Open Arms," "Separate Ways"... there are just too many to count. The band's farewell tour has two Florida stops. The first is here in Tampa at Benchmark International Arena (formerly Amalie Arena) and then they'll play Jacksonville the next night.

July 10: Train
A big night of 90s Q105 hits like "Drops of Jupiter" and "Meet Virginia" when Train comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Barenaked Ladies ("One Week") opens the show with Matt Nathanson too.

July 15: Styx and Chicago
The Windy Cities Tour comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Let's hope there's a nice summer wind that night... outdoor concerts in July in Tampa can be pretty humid!

August 1: Toto
A triple bill... see Toto with Christopher Cross and The Romantics at the Amphitheatre in Tampa. Yeah another outdoor show so hopefully we'll feel a sea breeze when Christopher Cross performs "Sailing."

August 14: Motley Crue
That whole retirement from touring thing was short-lived. The 80s glam rock gods are bringing the Return of the Carnival of Sins tour to Florida with performances by Tesla & Extreme.

August 24: Goo Goo Dolls
They had a bunch of big Q105 hits in the 90s like "Name," "Iris" and "Slide." There are 2 Florida dates on the tour, including a Tampa stop at the Amphitheatre.

November 26: Sting
This is the rescheduled date for the show originally planned for November 10, 2025 at the Hard Rock in Tampa. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.
