Talkin’ Rock with David Coverdale and Rival Sons singer Jay Buchanan
It’s a double dose of singers for today’s Talkin’ Rock podcast.
First up, it’s the legendary Whitesnake singer, David Coverdale. We discuss the upcoming “Rock” album from the band spotlighting revisited, remixed and remaster WS classics. That drops on June 19th. He tells me about his friendship with Deep Purple band mate, Glenn Hughes, working with the current band and his love of social media, especially his very amusing Twitter account. David drops kind of a bombshell on me near the end of our conversation.
Jay Buchanan from Rival Sons rounds out the podcast. I had the privilege of doing an Instagram live with Jay the day before and it was so good I thought I’d share it here. Jay talked about what he was doing during this strange time, which does include writing new music with Scott Holiday. He does a little singing for us and gives his thoughts and advice on these times.
Thank you for listening!
