Talkin’ Rock with Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix and Badwolves’ Tommy Vext
It’s another two for one today on Talkin’ Rock. Papa Roach is out on tour with Asking Alexandria and Badwolves, so I got the chance to sit down with the Jacoby and Tommy.
Jacoby is up first talking about his son’s avocado balls, being a dad, his parents, sobriety and how he’s kept that going. He also tells me about a video for one of their current songs and the 20th anniversary of the debut album “Invest”. Jacoby wears his heart on his sleeve and is always great to talk to. Oh, and he’s so good on stage, too!
Tommy comes in around the 23:20 mark. He tells me why he skipped leg day on this particular day, his long pathway to success, the new album, N.A.T.I.O.N. and what some of the songs are about and his own sobriety. He talks about how he helps other celebrities get and remain sober as well. Plus, he talks about their fall schedule and being managed by Zoltan from Five Finger Death Punch.
Al Beck brings the rock news with stories about the Foo Fighters, Eddie Money, Rob Halford and Judas Priest, Ozzy and STP.
