The Tampa Bay Rays Might Have Found The Answer To The Attendance Problem: $5 Tickets
In the past few weeks, as the team dominated the AL East, Tampa Bay Rays fans were still not showing up to Tropicana Field. The Tampa Bay Lightning playoff run ended quickly so there wasn’t that excuse. Tampa sports fans were not distracted yet attendance was dreadful. Someone had the idea to sell tickets for a week for $5. And it worked.
