Hockey Week is coming to Tampa Bay! February 9th – February 17th join the city of Tampa as they share a week’s worth of programming across Tampa Bay that will showcase the Lightning’s contributions to youth hockey in the Bay Area!
Beginning with Hockey Day, on Sunday, February 9th , this a signature event hosted every year by Tampa Bay Sports & Entertainment. It is a full day’s event with activities from 8:30AM-10PM, showcasing everything that the Community Hockey department do Tampa everyday!
Hockey Day will attribute an alumni skills competition featuring both Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier. In addition, Hockey Day will also be hosting a sled hockey game, where Lightning Alumni will be partaking in a scrimmage hockey game. You will also get the chance to watch a girl’s hockey game going on starting at 8:45am, as well a NHL Gaming Tournament at 10am. It will be a great day of hockey!
Tickets for the event are $10.

Monday, February 10th, come out for the grand opening of a new ball hockey arena in Ruskin followed by an Official Lightning Watch Party as the Bolts take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road. Address: 901 6th ST. SE, Ruskin, FL 33570
Tuesday, February 11th, kids between the ages of 4-12 can test their skating skills at Power Pole Arena, Home of Xtra Ice.
Wednesday, February 12th, The Lightning High School Hockey League will host a showcase game for all teams from the league heading to the State Championships. Teams and location will be determined a week prior.
Thursday, February 13th, join for a full day of programming at the Lightning Made Training Center from 10AM-10PM.
Friday, February 14th, everyone is welcomed out to the grand opening of a new ball hockey arena at Rowlett Park in Tampa presented by Chase. Address: 2401 E Yukon St., Tampa, FL 33604
Saturday, February 15th, it is College Hockey Day, as:
- Florida State University Seminoles vs. The University of Tampa Spartans
- Game to take place at 4PM at the Clearwater Ice Arena (13940 Icot Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760)
- University of Miami Hurricanes vs. University of South Florida Bulls
- Game to take place at 8PM at Advent Health Center Ice (3173 Cypress Ridge Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544
