The attendance issue the Tampa Bay Rays have been fighting for years seems to have an answer: cheaper tickets. With $2 and $5 ticket promotions recently, The Trop has been filled with fans. It’s nice to see! Those ticket price specials work. The parking and concessions revenue increases must be significant enough for them to consider doing these ticket deals permanently. They’re not losing out of ticket revenue. Those seats would’ve been empty.
