It was a night of wine, Chicken Parmesan, cannoli and wonderful Italian restaurant smells Friday night in Oldsmar as I checked out the new Mandola's Italian Kitchen. I haven't had a chance to check out the Tampa and Riverview locations yet, but word spread fast in Oldsmar about this opening. Thanks to Shawn Tegtmeyer and the staff for inviting us over to check out their creations! Let's eat!

Pollo alla Griglia
Chicken breast marinated in extra virgin olive oil and herbs, grilled & served with grilled vegetables.
Calamari & Zucchini Fritti
Coated and fried in seasoned flour & semolina, served with marinara.
Pizza looks fantastic - didn't get a chance to try it this time. I was way too full.
Chicken Marsala
Breast of chicken sautéed and topped with a thin slice of prosciutto & melted Fontina cheese in a mushroom Marsala sauce. Served with Trenette Pachino.

LOVED the Cannoli... the filling has a bit of a citrus touch to it... gives it a uniquely Florida spin.
