Sears closed at Citrus Park Mall in Tampa, and now it's been turned into a really cool entertainment complex, Elev8 Fun. I had a chance to check it out with my girls so I'll share my thoughts with you.

We visited on a rainy Saturday around lunchtime, and it wasn't crazy-busy. I think that's because they've designed it in a way that allows for visitors to spread out and enjoy all of the entertainment. When you check-in, you have the option of utilizing their self-service kiosks or getting in line to talk with a ticket booth operator.

Here are the activities you can choose from: go-kart racing, mini-golf, laser tag, arcades, e-sports, bowling, and a kid-zone. They also have food and adult beverages.

Mini-Golf and Bowling at Elev8 Fun at Citrus Park Mall in Tampa

We checked out the mini-golf first and loved it! The glow-in-the-dark decor and lighting made for a really cool atmosphere. We didn't get a chance to bowl, but the lanes have an interactive system that really keeps you engaged and entertained even between throws. Next time, maybe we'll go back for a date night and try out the go-karts and laser tag.

The parent company of Elev8 Fun, PrimeTime, hopes to open 12 to 15 more centers in Florida.
