Photo Courtesy of RWIt’s so funny because I just spent some time going back through the last eight years, and each costume photo kind of captures the theme of the year and the vibe in my life at that point in time.
My older daughter is going to be Rose from The Titanic this year. Will be posting pics of her costume soon!
Roxanne’s Trip To The Mountains In North Carolina
Each year during late September or early October, we pack up the kids and head to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
It’s nice to just get away from the Florida heat and know that when we come back from our vacation, we only have another month or so of hot weather to endure in Tampa. Here are some photos of some of my favorite moments during last year’s trip.
So much fun and I will very shortly be adding photos from our 2022 trip.
My daughter and I found some pumpkins outside of Starbucks.

Have you heard of Grandfather Mountain?
Photo Courtesy of RWAt 5,946 feet (1,812 m), it is the highest peak on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountain.
I can't begin to tell you how scary this bridge is..
Photo Courtesy of RWYou could see it moving in the wind, and it totally freaked me out.
Doug and my older daughter were brave enough to cross the rickety bridge.
Photo Courtesy of RWBut I couldn't do it. My baby and I stayed back.
This is another really cool part of Grandfather Mountain.
Photo Courtesy of RWYou will get to see bears.
This is a way back in time throwback.
Photo Courtesy of RWSometime in the 80's...me and my little sis as Kermit and Miss Piggy. My Mom made these costumes.

2020
Photo Courtesy of RWWe had a new baby, Davianna, to celebrate the holiday with, but...
2020
Photo Courtesy of RW...was also the year that kicked off Covid, so it was a hodgepodge of a Halloween. We didn't trick-or-treat. Just stood outside and ate candy, and we were pretty low-key with costumes. This is an unidentifiable raggedy princess costume.
2021
Photo Courtesy of RWLast year my older daughter wanted to be Mal from Descendants.
2021
Photo Courtesy of RWAnd that adorable ladybug costume saw the light of day again (or a Halloween night).
2021
Photo Courtesy of RWAnd Davianna loved being a ladybug so much, she napped in her costume for like 2 weeks straight even after Halloween.
