We always love to tell you about our favorite places to go and things to do grouped by steakhouse or bars or brunch places. Well, here I grouped it by time period. We will have Summer, Fall and Winter posts to follow.
And yes, these are just the highlights. I don't want to bog us down with photos of despair and conflict. Not that I actively photograph those aspects of my life. I guess that is the good thing about photos in your cell phone. They usually do focus on the positive. And as I was doing this hindsight analysis, I came up with one other observation. You know how we go through life and usually beat ourselves up about the things we haven't done? The things that are overdue, things that have been overlooked or have been sitting on our to-do list for too long...Well, if you do this exercise and flip through your phone, you might realize...wow...I do actually accomplish a few things and spend quality time with people I love, etc. So hopefully it will help you be less of an aggressive critic of yourself.
These highlights include a commercial shoot for Thin Energy with my daughter and NBA legend, John Starks; fun moments with my co-workers; girls' weekends with my friends Dunesse and Carol (Kettle); family time; graduations; vacations; and birthday parties. It was a very busy spring and reminds me that I probably need to be gearing up for another busy spring for 2023.
Thank you for checking out the photos. I'll be uploading Summer, Fall and Winter soon.
We took the kids skiing for the first time in April.

A Colorado ski vacation is, hands down, my favorite.

In April, we did a commercial shoot for Thin Energy.

It was so much fun. It was me, along with my daughter...
NBA Hall of Famer, John Starks.

Little Missy got a little hangry torwards the end of the shoot. He's trying to give her a high-five, but she was done.
We loved partnering with Don, the IT guy.

Every time he comes by the station, he has goodies. And listeners REALLY love Don and the Surface Pros.

So happy when my dear friend and co-worker Sharon asked me to be a host for her fashion show.

It benefitted the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The fashion show was at Edidie V's.

And we'll be doing it soon again this spring in 2023.
It all culminated with an appearance on Bloom TV.

Sharon and I went on the show to chat with Gayle about the cause.
Big girl turned 5!

She had an awesome party at a bounce house!
Throughout the Spring, we saw MJ Morning Show billboards around Tampa Bay.

My girls got a kick out of seeing them.
We went to the Derek Jeter Turn 2 Golf Event.

Here's me with Didi Wong at the gala.
She was so proud of this moment.

Time is flying!
I think we kept this sign out in our yard until November.

Big girl is off to kindergarten.
This was just one fun day cooking in the kitchen.

My older daughter and I try to follow a recipe and my baby just throws together any crazy ingredients she can find.
This a photo of my daughter dancing to...

A song that was produced especially for her by my thoughtful co-worker.
Froggy, or rather DJ Yuck Face, produced an insanely good song.

It included samples of my daughter singing and me saying stupid stuff on air.
Little Missy had her first REAL dance recital.

It was at the Straz Center.
Sissy and Jammie and Papa were all there to support her.

Can't for this year's recital. It's coming up!
She did a great job performing.

She wasn't nervous at all.
It's always a good day when PDQ stops by.

I go there at least once a week.
We started a family tradition of Sunday brunch.

We try to do it once a month.
My suggestion for you if you have young kids...

Take them to brunch that also has a DJ. The loud music will drown out your loud kids.
This was from a trip to the Hard Rock with my girlfriends.

I do believe I had TOO much fun.
I'm only including these 2 pics of me at the Hard Rock and not my friends...

Dunese and Carol (Kettle). They don't like to be photographed.
It's always a good day when Shorty Shane is in the studio.

I believe this was around the time of the infamous dryer stunt.
Every time my girl, Debra calls and invites me to a Lightning game...

I'm ecstatic! Go Bolts!
