Tampa Bay Sports Bars: Pan Filo’s

My wife, Christine and I love a good sports bar. We're always looking for great destinations when we're out riding the Harley on the weekends. So, maybe we can steer you toward (and maybe even away from) some of the various sports bars that we visit in the Tampa Bay area.

This blog will be a regular feature of mine. This week, I thought I'd write about one of our regular haunts, Pan Filo's Taqueria, on Clearwater Beach.

Pan Filo's is now owned by the same guys that own Captain's Pizza on Clearwater Beach. They have been making excellent thin and crispy pizza for many years. As a matter of fact, they have recently moved Captain's Pizza inside the Pan Filo's location... so now it's one-stop-shopping. Great tacos and great pizza!

Pan Filos has two pool tables (a must for Christine and I as we love to play pool) and a great atmosphere. They serve awesome tacos too, like I've never had before.

There is plenty of parking in front of Pan Filo's. Don't worry about signage saying that spots are just for the market next door. It's old signage and Pan Filo's shares ALL parking spots with the market. You will not be towed. Also, if there are no spots in the parking lot in front of Pan Filo's, go around back, there are always a few open back there.

When you come inside, say hello to wait-staff Shane and Jake... and Chef Mario in the kitchen (he's quite the character). And the Manager, Woody is always happy to help you with any questions or concerns.
