Thanks to Jacob Pursifull, this is the view you now have of the alligators at Busch Gardens. You probably remember the story from last month. The YouTuber thought it would be hilarious to jump the fence and mingle with the alligators. It didn't take too long for Tampa PD to identify him... since he posted it to his YouTube channel. He was charged with burglary, theft of services, and trespassing, according to IONTB.
To prevent more would be, or wannabe, social media "celebrities" from jumping into the alligator pit, Busch Gardens has erected a black steel fence. It's an eyesore, but apparently it's necessary. Thanks Jacob. Thanks a lot. Here are some pics I snapped today of how the alligator viewing area looks now for Busch Gardens visitors.
Remember when you had a nice clean and clear view of the gators because you were smart enough to stay behind the fence?
Most of us didn't need this warning sign.
Now even it is behind bars.
