You're probably thinking Bern's has to be one of them right? Not this time! Yelp is out with their best restaurants in America list for 2022.

Five Florida restaurants made the cut but it's possible you haven't tried any of them. None were here in the Tampa area. In fact, none in Orlando or Miami made the list either. You'll need to make a road trip to try out these spots Yelp reviewers loved the most. For the top two, you'll need to take a 3-1/2 hour drive east.

#69 - Covey Kitchen + Cocktails, Gainesville, Florida

If you're heading up to see a Gators game, stop off at this waterside spot at the Eleo Hotel. The short rib is popular. One reviewer says if you go for brunch, try the banana pudding French toast.

#65 - Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar, Santa Rosa Beach

Bet you didn't plan on a trip to the Panhandle. Honestly, I had to Google Santa Rosa Beach. The ocean views are a big draw here. Fresh local seafood like crab claws, fried shrimp, and of course, oysters.

#56 - Sassafras, West Palm Beach

Shrimp, grits, fried chicken... lots of southern favorites here. There's a Sunday brunch if you are planning a weekend visit.

#46 - Dada, Delray Beach

This was once a house so it has a unique vibe reviewers loved. The owner suggests you try the goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. The short-rib is very popular too. Definitely make a reservation.

#31 - The Wine Room Kitchen & Bar, Delray Beach

Yelp's #1 pick in Florida is also in Delray Beach. You can get the Cava-brined double-cut pork chop. But the big deal here is the wine. They have over 2,500 kinds to choose from. Over 200 of them can be ordered by the glass. Great place for an Old Fashioned too!
