8 Ways To Enjoy Tampa Riverfest
Now that Spring is here, it’s time to celebrate what we have in Tampa. Riverwalk gets its own festival each year the first week of May. Here’s a list of what you can experience.

Tampa Riverfest will take place along Riverwalk, at Curtis Hixon Riverfront Park and at Water Works Park on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, 2022.
Tampa Riverfest features 8 events during the weekend's fun
'Taste of the Riverwalk' happens May 6 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Access to the event is free, but there are also VIP tickets available that can get you complimentary drinks and cocktails, plus front row access to the stage, executive restroom access and samples from 'Taste of Riverwalk'.
Both days, you can enjoy 'Hot Air Balloon Glow from 8:30-9 p.m.
Free to watch at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
Saturday, May 7, Riverfest will host the 3rd Annual TacoFest.

Live concerts both days: Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. and Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
Both nights, concerts will run until 10 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
The Paddle Invasion, where you can race on paddleboard, surfski & outrigger canoe from Armature Works down the Hillsborough River Saturday morning.

Yoga in the Park will take place Saturday at Water Works Park from 9-10 a.m.
Classes are donation based. Bring your own materials/mat.

The Florida Wiener Dog Derby takes place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park beginning at 10 a.m.

The Lantern Parade begins at Water Works Park at 8 p.m.
New in 2022, Riverfest will feature the Lantern Parade. Decorate your own paper lantern and join the parade!
