If you're looking for one of the safest cities to live in, Brandon might be your city.

A website called UpHomes looked at cities around our state to determine where residents were safest. We already know Florida has beautiful weather and lots to do, but what cities around our Sunshine State provide the safest environments? If you're moving here and you have children or older parents, you may put safety at the top of your list of priorities. Everyone wants to feel safe in their home and community.

A handful of cities in or close to our Tampa Bay area made the list. Brandon earned the fifth spot on the list.
