It was a punch in the gut today hearing the news about Christie McVie's passing. While Stevie Nicks might have had the spotlight for many of the band's hits, Christine sang lead on several of Fleetwood Mac's best-selling songs.

You Make Loving Fun

When news broke today and I had to share it on Q105, this was the first song that came to mind to play.  Her smooth fun vocals in this one just made me smile. Word is this song was about an affair with tour crew member.

Don't Stop

It was the theme for an election. Christine wrote this one. It was released back in 1977 but had a resurgence in popularity when it was the campaign song for then Governor Bill Clinton.

Little Lies

A number of covers of this one have been done over the years... even by Hilary Duff!

Say You Love Me

This one was never the same at concerts after Christine left the group.

Hold Me

Another one Christine McVie wrote. This one was recorded with the windows open in Paris.

Songbird

Christie wrote the song in under an hour late at night. There wasn't anyone around so she stayed up all night to present it to the group.

Everywhere

You're hearing this one... everywhere... as it's been featured in a popular TV car commercial.

Over My Head

The lyrics to this one are said to be inspired by her working relationship with Lindsay Buckingham.
