I've been dying to go to Parts of Paris for years. It's located in Safety Harbor, and I've always heard people rave about it.

We wanted to make a special night out for my younger daughter (big sis was on a trip with her cousins to Disney World). We asked her where she wanted to go for dinner. She said, "Paris." So I booked a reservation at Parts of Paris for Friday night at 8:30 P.M. I booked a couple of days out and that was the earliest I could find. My plan was to have the three of us go down to Safety Harbor, visit the Safety Harbor Marina, and then walk around Main Street until our 8:30 reservation. First, we went to the Marina. It's so pretty to go there at sunset. We decided to just check in at Parts of Paris to see if we could get in to eat any earlier.

Even though it was only 6:30 and our reservation wasn't for another two hours, they accommodated us and had a nice table available on the patio. It was a beautiful night. A little windy and rainy at times, but we were safe from the elements on the covered patio.

We had wine, a Caprese salad, steak tartare, escargot, a delicious cheeseburger, and Doug got a tuna niçoise special that had an egg on top and was amazing. That was actually my favorite dish out of everything we tried because it had tarragon in it.

The service was impeccable, and the vibe outside was relaxing. I had to walk inside a couple of times to take my daughter to use the restroom, and it's so much fun inside. It's definitely louder but you feel like you could be transported across the Atlantic to a bar somewhere in Paris. Though I didn't have one tonight, I did hear that their Espresso Martinis are THE best.

Here are five of my favorite things about the restaurant.

1. The Wine List (And Drink List, In General)

Paris

Parts of Paris

They have amazing French wines. Doug had a cabernet, and I had a Bordeaux blend. In addition to their Espresso Martini that I mentioned, they have some really creative drinks, including one called "Let Them Eat Cake" (Marie Antoinette).

2. It's Near The Safety Harbor Marina

It's so pretty to walk around the marina and catch the sunset and then walk down Main Street where all the action is to arrive at Parts of Paris.

3. Escargot

Safety Harbor

You can always have a good idea a French restaurant is based on how good the escargot is. A big thumbs up.

4. The Bathrooms Are LOVELY (And Clean)

Parts of Paris

Restroom

With a three-year-old, you end up making mulitple trips to the restrooms, and the restrooms at Parts of Paris are not only the cleanest, but they are tres chic with Parisian decor in every corner.

5. The Vibe In The Whole Restaurant

Paris

Eifel Tower

From the Eiffel Tower replica in one corner to the dazzling bar, whoever designed the restaurant paid attention to every detail.
