Five New Ways To Enjoy Christmas At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced the return of Christmas Town. In 2022, there will be some new features to enjoy.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced the return of Christmas Town. In 2022, there will be some new features to enjoy.

This marks the 10th anniversary Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Each year, the park is decorated with millions of lights in their displays. Add the shows, holiday displays, food and the world class Busch Gardens attractions for a fun Christmas celebration spanning 57 days.

Christmas Town will run from November 14th through January 9th.

Here are five new experiences to enjoy for 2022:

Holiday in the Sky:

An all-new festive fireworks display that features an added water fountain show that dances to the soundtrack of holiday favorites. Check it out on select nights on the Festival Field.

New Lights and Projections

A musical light and projection show can be enjoyed at the Serengeti Overlook building. Each day, guests can watch it each 15 minutes beginning at 6 p.m.

Christmas with the Celts:

Christmas carols and Irish dance. The live show features singers, musicians and dancers at the Stanleyville Theater each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 16 through December 25.

Land of the Sweets:

The Sugar Plum ballerina stilt walker and her Cavalier soldier join the Sugar Plum Princess in a new realm.

The new Christmas tree!

A new 32-foot-tall Christmas tree in a red and white winter wonderland will be found at the heart of Jungala.

Returning favorites include:

Santa’s North Pole Experience: Join the elves as they guide you to Santa's workshop. Get photos with Santa's sleigh while listening to joyful songs. Enjoy Storytime with Mrs. Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Clarice and Bumble in Rudolph's Winter Wonderland.

“Christmas on Ice”:

Busch Gardens' longest running holiday show can be seen at the Moroccan Palace Theater.

Elmo’s Christmas Wish:

See Cookie Monster, Rosita, Grover and Zoe in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area while they help Elmo find his Christmas Wish. Adults and kids alike will enjoy the songs in this holiday show.

Three Kings Journey:

The tale of the three wise men famed journey to Bethlehem set to music. Come see it at at Dragonfire Grill on select nights from Nov. 18 through Jan. 8.

Holly Jolly Express:

The merriest train will transport guests into the celebration as they loop around the park aboard this sing-along journey playing the favorite songs of the season.

Busch Gardens Annual Passholder Preview

Pass Members can enjoy a first look at Busch Gardens Christmas Town. Busch Gardens' holiday event kicks off with a Pass Member preview with select entertainment and culinary elements on Sunday, November 13.

Roxanne is a co-host on the MJ Morning Show and host of Middays on Q105 in Tampa Bay.
