This means singles in Florida have tons of opportunities to meet new people and places to go on dates!

How did WalletHub find this info? They compared the 50 states across 30 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from the share of single adults to online-dating opportunities to restaurants per capita. Even though Florida ranked in the top 3 of best states for singles, Tampa and Orlando made the list of best cities for singles at #29 and #26. Florida did tie in the #1 spot for restaurants per capita, meaning there are plenty of places to take your date out to eat in the Sunshine State.

Florida's number of restaurants definitely helps their high ranking! We ranked 4th for dating opportunities and 3rd for romance and fun! We can't think of anything more romantic than a picnic date on the beach at sunset.

Texas is full of date night spots! They tied for #1 for most restaurants and movie theaters per capita.
