Pat Benatar performs onstage during the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Microsoft Theater on November 05, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

You have 4 chances to see Pat Benatar in Florida this week. She’s in Sarasota tonight at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The tour heads over to Saint Augustine Wednesday and then comes back to Clearwater Thursday night for a performance at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Then Sunday, she plays Hard Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood near Fort Lauderdale.

She seems to stay pretty close to this set list, in this order, according to fans who’ve seen her on this tour so far.

  • Sex as a Weapon

Kicking off the night with a song that really shows off Pat’s powerful voice. It wasn’t a big hit on the radio, but it’s one of Pat’s underrated classics from 1985.

  • All Fired Up

This one is actually a cover of a song by an Australian country group! Pat’s version came out a year later in 1987.

  • We Live for Love

Pat sings a bit higher on this song. When it came out, many thought it was Debbie Harry from Blondie.

  • Anxiety (Get Nervous)

It doesn’t get much more ’80s than this music video!

  • Girl

Pat reunited with Holly Knight to write this one in 2012.

  • We Belong

One of our most requested songs to this day on Q105, this one was nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

  • Promises In The Dark

A song written with Neil Giraldo, her guitarist and the man who’d eventually become her husband. The two got married in a cow pasture over 40 years ago and are still going strong.

  • Strawberry Wine

An often forgotten song from the late 90s, this one’s from Pat’s album Innamorata.

  • River of Love

Another one from Innamorata, this one wasn’t released as a single. In fact the whole album is kind of forgotten. It only appeared on the Billboard album charts for a week, peaking at number 171.

  • Dirty Little Secrets

One more from the album. While this one may not be familiar, be patient. You’ll definitely know the next few songs word for word.

  • Invincible

Another one that was up for a GRAMMY. This one was used as the theme for the movie “The Legend of Billie Jean” in 1985 with Helen Slater.

  • Shadows of the Night

The song was made for a 1980 movie, but ended up not being used. The guy who wrote the song was told it wasn’t commercial enough! A couple years later, Pat made them realize how wrong they were.

  • Hell Is for Children

Benatar’s famous song to bring awareness to child abuse. She says it was inspired after reading horrific articles on the topic in the New York Times.

  • You Better Run

A song that was actually done by The Young Rascals back in the ’60s. Pat’s version was recorded for her second album in 1980 and was featured in the movie “Roadie.” It was the second music video ever played on MTV.

  • Love Is a Battlefield

Don’t leave after this one.  There’s an encore to come!

  • Helter Skelter

Yep! A cover of The Beatles classic!

  • Everybody Lay Down

Another one of Pat’s 90s efforts. It didn’t catch on like her 80s material did, but Pat says this one’s about putting up or shutting up.

  • Heartbreaker

Finishing off the night will be this air guitar anthem from 1979. It’s such a guitar lovers’ favorite it was featured in the music video game Guitar Hero.
