Easter egg hunts are so fun for the kids, especially around the Tampa Bay area.

We usually have nice weather this time of year. I know we are into the "April showers bring May Flowers" season, but on Sunday, it looks like it will be just partly cloudy with highs reaching the low eighties.

Busch Gardens will be having an Easter Eggstravaganza. Kids will be able to enjoy an egg hunt, interactions with animals, and story time with characters from Sesame Street.

Kids who are eight and under can enjoy the egg hunt at 1 P.M. on both Saturday and Sunday. You must register your kids in advance. Also, be on the lookout for golden eggs. There are 40 of them around the park, and they each come with a special prize.

Kids and families love visiting the Florida Aquarium. If you buy a general admission ticket this week, you can enjoy some Easter-themed events. You can have your kids take pictures with the Easter Bunny in the CIBC Lounge, which is on the second floor. The Easter Bunny will be there Friday through Sunday, popping up at various times. And if you want to participate in the Florida Aquarium Easter scavenger hunt, pick up a card at guest services when you visit on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

If you want to visit Downtown Tampa, you and your family can enjoy an egg hunt on Saturday. It kicks off at 9 A.M. and is hosted by the Tampa Downtown Partnership. There will be THOUSANDS of plastic eggs, which will be tied to prizes, inside around Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa. Adults can enjoy the fun, too.

You can definitely find an Easter activity that will suit your family.

Check out this list of three cool Easter egg adventures for the kiddos.
