It seems like every day, we're reading more and more about carjackings or someone getting pushed onto the tracks in a subway station.
Wallethub recently did a study on safety in each state. Included in this study was a look at COVID-19 related statistics.
Some states feel safer than others, but WalletHub broke it down very specifically, looking at 53 safety indicators, which were then grouped into five different categories.
We'll show you the Top 5 safest states, but you might be surprised to find out that Florida did not rank high on the list. The Sunshine State ranked particularly low when it came to workplace safety and road safety.
Florida Town Among Most Affordable Cities In The U.S.
Sarasota is one of the most affordable cities in the U.S. and this is coming from a study by Realtor.com.
They actually have the region of North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton as one of the most affordable cities. The list is about the Emerging Housing Market Index, where they named the most affordable places to live in the U.S.
The list was made up after going through 300 large markets each quarter. They based their research on details including:
