Everyone's talking about Captain Kirk finally going into space for real. But he's been among the stars for decades thanks to these hilarious covers from the Beatles to hip hop to heavy metal to 80s pop. Here are my top 10 all-time favorite songs that have been Shatnerized to perfection.

#10: Rocket Man (Elton John)

Elton actually forgot the words to this song at his most recent Tampa concert but Shatner gets 'em right!

#9: Total Eclipse of the Heart (Bonnie Tyler)

William gets soft and sentimental in this hilarious duet!

#8: She Blinded Me With Science (Thomas Dolby)

William Shatner knows his science.

#7: Spirit In The Guy (Norman Greenbaum)

Doesn't have that classic guitar edge this song needs... but Shatner's vocals and attitude are on point.

#6: Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)

Queen's classic with a Captain Kirk touch!

#5: Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds (The Beatles)

This cover of the Beatles classic is almost as well known now as the one George, Paul, Ringo and John did.

#4: My Way (Frank Sinatra)

Accompanied by storm troopers, Shatner dares to Sinatra as he paid tribute to George Lucas.

#3: Iron Man (Black Sabbath)

Shatner meets Ozzy!

#2: Twilight Zone (Golden Earring)

A natural one for Captain Kirk to cover... Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone"!

#1: F--- You (Cee-Lo Green)

My all time favorite Shatner performance. Way better than Cee Lo Green's version. OK don't worry... they bleeped the parts if you're at work!
