Florida Map Shows How Close To Your Home Sinkholes Have Formed
As dozens of holes opened up this week in a Pasco County neighborhood, we’ve watched and felt for our neighbors because this quite literally hits close to home. How close to home? If you’re curious about sinkholes and depressions in your area, there’s an interactive map set up by The Florida Geological Survey with “Florida Subsidence Incident Reports.” By default, it shows all of Florida but you can zoom right in on your neighborhood. The reports go back over 50 years. Open the link below and click to zoom in to see the activity where you live.
