If You See A Blue Pumpkin This Halloween – Here’s What It Means
Halloween is Thursday and kids will Trick or Treat all over Tampa Bay getting as much candy as they can. If you see a child with a blue pumpkin it means they are autistic. One Mom described trick or treating with her son who was non-verbal and every time he went to a door, the home owners would hold the candy and wait for him to say trick or treat, which he couldn’t do.
So Blue Pumpkin candy buckets are to raise awareness of autistic trick or treaters. Brilliant!
