10 Great Tampa Concerts Already Announced for 2025
It’s that time of year lots of big concerts get announce. Concert promoters know Santa is doing his shopping. So we already have a bunch of Tampa concerts revealed for next year. Here are the ones I’m most pumped for.
January 11: Styx & Loverboy
Lots of big Q105 ’80s hits at this one like Renegade, Lady, and Come Sail Away from Styx and Working For The Weekend and Turn Me Loose from Loverboy. The bands play The Sound at Coachman Park in Clearwater. I still have yet to make it to a show at the new venue, but I hear it’s nice. Bret Michaels said it’s one of the most beautiful amphitheaters he’s ever played this weekend. [Tickets]
February 2: Kansas
Lots of Q105 classics like ‘Carry On Wayward Son’, ‘Dust in the Wind’ and more. See them at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. If you’re a fan of the band, this is another great venue as you really can’t find a bad seat in the place. Tickets are a little pricier than most since the space is so small. [Tickets]
February 12: The Black Crowes
We were hoping to see them with Aerosmith at Amalie Arena on Valentines Day, but we know what happened there. Catch them on the other side of the Bay at The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete. [Tickets]
February 26: Rod Stewart
Rod returns for another intimate performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Event Center. Rod has played the venue a few times now. The first time when he walked on stage and saw the size of the crowd, he joked “I’m still getting my same fee aren’t I?” Apparently the Hard Rock ponied up the cash because he’s coming back again. [Tickets]
February 27: Richard Marx and Rick Springfield
This will be the first time the pair have performed together in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Richard Marx is known for so many Q105 favorites like “Right Hear Waiting,” “Don’t Mean Nothing,” and “Hold On To the Nights.” Rick Springfield will perform acoustic versions of his big Q105 hits like “Jessie’s Girl” and “Affair of the Heart.” [Tickets]
March 12: ZZ Top
“That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has been at it for well over a half century, delivering rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio to millions of devoted fans. With iconography as distinctive as their sound, ZZ TOP is virtually synonymous with beards, hotrod cars, spinning guitars and that magic keychain. See them at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa. [Tickets]
May 16: AC/DC
The legendary band returns to Tampa for a show at Raymond James Stadium. It’s their first area show in about 15 years.
May 31: Styx
The Brotherhood of Rock tour with Styx, REO Speedwagon lead singer Kevin Cronin and Don Felder of The Eagles comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. [Tickets]
June 6 & 8: Metallica
The 80s and 90s metal gods play Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. [Tickets]
June 20: Avril Lavigne
The Greatest Hits tour comes to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. [Tickets]
June 21: Ringo Starr
The Beatles legend comes to Clearwater. Colin Hay from Men At Work will also be at this show at the BayCare Sound at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Others on the bill include Steve Luthaker, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonette. [Tickets]
July 19: Toto
The band with so many big Q105 hits like “Hold The Line,” “Africa,” and “Rosanna” play the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Opening acts include Christopher Cross (“Sailing” and “Ride Like The Wind”) and Men at Work (“Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now”). [Tickets]
