FLASHBACK: Joan Jett & The Blackhearts Rock Hall Induction Performance
Joan Jett celebrates a birthday today (September 22), and while she turns 60, her swagger and cool is simply ageless.
If you’re looking for proof, just take a look back at this awesome performance from when she was enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the 2015 induction class. This writer’s particular favorite song from the marathon performance was of “Cherry Bomb,” which was originally recorded by Jett’s first band The Runaways.
Hopefully, we’ll get to see that ground-breaking girl group inducted into the Rock Hall.

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
