Bob Saget Has Died At 65
Bob Saget, who was known for his role as Danny Tanner on Full House, has died, gossip site TMZ reports. He was 65.
Multiple sources have told the outlet that he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Fl.
“The Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 p.m. after hotel security had found Bob in his room,” the outlet reports adding, “He was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.”
Saget played the control freak father Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom which aired from 1987 to 1995. The cast also included John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who traded places portraying Michelle.
He reprised his role as Danny for the Netflix reboot Fuller House which ran for 4 years and ended in 2020.
Saget was also the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997.
The Philly native was also known for his stand-up comedy and some additional notable acting credits included the narrator’s voice in How I Met Your Mother and a recurring role on HBO’s Entourage.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and 3 children.
