Bob Barker's last taping day at The Price Is Right was a sad day for many... including Bob.
Below is a gallery of photos from that day. Many of these photos have never been seen by the public before.
BTW... don't miss the very LAST photo in the gallery. Heartbreaking (at least for me).
Enjoy!

Members of the studio audience start to file in as they prepare to take part in Bob's last taping.

Morning production meeting. Director, Bart Eskander is seated at the head of the table. That's model Lanisha Cole sitting to my left and Rachel Reynold across from me. Gabriel was the 3rd. model that day and she is blocked from view by Rachel. Associate Director Fred Witten is in the foreground.

Christine was an invited guest. It was GREAT to have her there all day to share in such a monumental day.

About an hour before show-time (and just seconds before the audience and press were allowed in) they called Bob out to do a camera and lighting test. Bob was in the middle of getting his make up applied.

It's show-time and the big doors are about to open.

"And now... here is the STAR of The Price Is Right... Bob Barker!"

The audience that day was so happy to be there. And why not?

Bob and a contestant ponder a price.

"I love BOB BARKER!"

CBS camera men who worked the show for decades were on their A-games this day.

At the announcer's podium, surrounded by the press.

Bob cheerfully plays on... looking for as many winners as he can get.

I see a lot of "5's" in this crowd of helpers.

The big wheel is incredibly heavy.

Bob talks with the audience during a commercial break.

This audience member's name is Dorothy. Bob's wife's name was Dorothy Jo. No doubt this lady reminded Bob that Dorothy Jo was right there with him that day.

Plinko! One of Bob's favorite games... because the audience loved it so much.

After Plinko was over... I could see that Bob felt like the day was coming to an end.

"Get $1 on the big wheel and win $1,000!"

.90 cents... not bad.

This guy was so excited to be on the show that day.

He was bouncing off the walls with energy.

For this prize... I'd stop between the two "G's".

"I love you Bob!". "I love you too... We'll be right back after these messages".

The showcases are over... and that leaves only one thing to do.

"Help control the pet population... Have your pet spayed or neutered. Goodbye everybody!"

The whole cast waves goodbye from Door #3.

Side view of the "wave-goodbye". Look at Lanisha holding back the emotions.

I'm so glad this kiss was caught on camera. I also thanked him for everything that he did for Christine and I. "Bob, we will be forever grateful."

Bob's last close up as Host of The Price Is Right.

A standing ovation for Bob.

Publicity photo after the show.

Bob and his Beauties.

After the show was over, Bob walked back out...

... and thanked the audience for being "So loyal, and true", over the years.

Meeting and greeting audience members after the day's taping. I regularly visited with the audience after the shows.

Then it was time for press and interviews. Wow! So many members of the press.

Bob's Director's chair was brought out from his dressing room.

A nice photo of Bob just before he sat down to speak with all of the press at once.

Bob loves an interview.

Despite the sadness of the day... Bob laughed it up with the media.

Bob was in a great mood for this interview...

... until all of a sudden... it hit him.

Bob got choked up and couldn't speak. So he took a moment...

... and we could all see his eyes well up with tears. He knew this was it. 50 years on television. Wow.

We had a huge party for Bob after the day was over. This is my wife Christine and Bob together.

Then I asked Christine to take a photo of Bob and I together.

Then I told Christine to "Take one more!"... and I planted this kiss on Bob. Something that I wanted to do the entire time that I worked with him. I love this man. He changed our lives. God bless him.

After all of the excitement of the day... Bob Barker walks out of CBS for the very last time as the host of The Price Is Right.
