Blondie remains one of the coolest, most influential groups to emerge from CBGB’s and the New York punk scene of the 1970s. Co-founded by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, the group’s effortless mojo is still inspiring the masses today thanks to timeless hits like “Heart of Glass,” “One Way Or Another,” “Call Me,” “Rapture” and more.

When they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson made sure to make note of the impact of Harry, in particular. She referred to the Blondie singer as, “The most beautiful girl in any room, in any city, on any planet. The girl who invented the archetype by which all other stars who have followed in her footsteps have been measured.” She added, “Her influence can still be detected today in the style of every self-respecting rock and roll queen.”

When it comes to the items below, we made sure to pick items that were as enduring as the band themself. Keep scrolling to check out our badass finds!

  • Face It: A Memoir

Released in 2019, Face It: A Memoir by Debbie Harry was an intimate look at the Blondie singer filled with a bunch of photos and illustrations. Harry wrote in the book, “I was saying things in songs that female singers didn’t really say back then. I wasn’t submissive or begging him to come back, I was kicking his ass, kicking him out, kicking my own ass too. My Blondie character was an inflatable doll but with a dark, provocative, aggressive side. I was playing it up yet I was very serious.”
