Slash Confirms Guns N’Roses Album Is Happening
Guns N’Roses guitarist, Slash says the rumors are true and GN’R is getting ready to record their first new album in more than a decade.
Earlier this week, Slash’s bandmate, Richard Fortus said the band would hit the studio after Slash finished touring with his solo band The Conspirators. Now Slash has confirmed that once his current tour is over, he will “go back and get to work with Guns N’Roses and see where that goes.”
Unfortunately, that won’t be for a while – Slash will be touring the world with the Conspirators at least through August of this year.
Guns N’Roses haven’t released an album of new material since 2008’s Chinese Democracy, and Slash hasn’t appeared on a GN’R album since the mid-90’s.
