Survivornet.com reports that Beth Chapman has been banned from Facebook during her stage 4 cancer battle. Fans worry that this recent battle with the social media page may bring on added stress for Beth during this difficult time.

Beth uses her social media platforms to promote her new show “Dog’s Most Wanted” coming out soon on WGN, so she is anxious to get her page back up. Apparently she was not banned by Twitter, her other social media tool.
It’s not entirely clear why Beth was banned from Facebook and Instagram, where she hadn’t posted for days. Although she had continued to use Twitter. It’s said that her (alleged) ban was because of a recent posting on Facebook where she used the word “thug” to refer to the U.S. prison population. The post is below:
Beth’s fans rushed to her defense claiming she is not a racist and shows love and compassion to everyone, expressing their displeasure with Facebook and hoping that she returns soon.
This dispute also comes on the heels of a very public argument she’s been having with her stepdaughter, Lyssa, whom Beth accuses of various acts of disrespect.
In spite of all the drama Beth seems to push on. She’s fighting hard for her life and looking forward to her new show. If you’d like to see the new publicity photos of both Dog and Beth for the new show click HERE.
UPDATE: Since this story’s original posting, Beth Chapman now says she has been released from Facebook jail. Was it because of the attention that Q105 brought to the issue? We’d like to think so. 🙂
