Airline Accidentally Tweets About Where On A Plane You Are Least Likely To Die
I know the Dutch Airline KLM didn’t mean to put this out on their twitter page, but I appreciate the heads up. KLM accidentally tweet about which seats on a plane are the safest for surviving a crash.
KLM in India posted a trivia question along the lines of, Which seats and spots on a plane are you safest?
According to data by Time, the fatality rate for the seats in the middle of the plane is the highest, The fatality rate for the front of the plane is marginally lesser but the fatality rate is least for the back third section of the plane.
The tweet has been taken down and the apology put up.
We would like to sincerely apologise for a recent update. The post was based on a publically available aviation fact, and isn't a @KLM opinion. It was never our intention to hurt anyone's sentiments. The post has since been deleted.
