Mattress Mack Ups His Astros Wager To $10.2 Million
Jim McIngvale better known as “Mattress Mack” is famous for his mattress business and for his sports wagers. He’s the guy who bet $3.5 million on the Astros to win the World Series. After the Astros lost Game 1 against the Nationals, Mattress Mack jumped on his private jet and took off to bet even more. Reporter Darren Rovell spent the day with Mattress Mack and posted his betting on Twitter. They flew back just in time for Game 2 which the Astros lost 12-3. OUCH. That being said, I lived in Boston in 2004 when the Red Sox came back to beat the Yankees after being down 3 games to none. With the additional bets placed yesterday, Mattress Mack has bet a total of $10.2 Million on the Astros to win. Anything is possible….Good Luck Mattress Mack!
