Vanna White Comments On Alex Trebek’s Health
Fox News shares information from Wheel Of Fortune’s Vanna White, regarding a health update on Alex Trebek, (host of Jeopardy!).
In a recent interview, (and while her own cohost Pat Sajak recovers from a bowel obstruction) the temporary WOF host says that she has spoken with Trebek, and she had a promising update regarding his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer.
Fox reports that Vanna says Alex has started another round of chemotherapy, and claims he’s in very good spirits and that he continues to fight.
Vanna is quoted as saying..
“He’s doing good. He really is. He looks good. I talked to him recently and he’s got a very positive attitude.
I love that he’s honest and open with his fans, because he’s been doing the show for a very long time also and feels very connected to all of his fans and viewers. He is definitely keeping everybody updated on how he’s doing, and I am so proud of him. He’s still working, he’s obviously doing chemotherapy but working through it, and has that strong will to, as we say, the show must go on.”
This update has fans feeling very optimistic given Trebek’s most recent comments that chemotherapy may force him to retire from Jeopardy!, a shows he’s been hosting since 1984.
We certainly hope the chemo is helping Alex. Let’s all continue to pray for his recovery.
