Florida Supermarket Lottery Play Makes Two New Millionaires
If you like to play the lottery but have never bought tickets at your neighborhood grocery store, you might want to rethink your strategy.
Remarkably, officials at the Florida State Lottery have announced that two Tampa area residents became millionaires after purchasing tickets while shopping for groceries.
Mary Pace, 65 of Gulfport, won on $900,000 from a lottery ticket that she purchased at a Publix located at 1600 66th Street North in St. Pete. She won on a Jackpot Triple Play ticket. The drawing for that win was on January 14th., according to News Channel 8.
And today, WFLA.com reports that the Florida Lottery has announced that Bradenton resident Richard Walker, 60 , purchased a $10 Cashword scratch-off at the Winn-Dixie store at 1010 53rd Avenue East in Bradenton.
That’s two big winners right here in the Tampa Bay area in about a weeks time. I think I’m going to start adding Lottery tickets on to my grocery shopping list every week!
