Two New Florida Residents Win Jackpots On Lottery Scratchers
In case you haven’t noticed, the Florida Lottery has been making big winners here in the Tampa Bay area the past few weeks, on a somewhat of a regular basis. It’s been well documented as we have reported in story, after story, after story!
Today we add two new winners to the list who hale from the Tampa Bay area.
The first new winner is 50 year-old Salima Lalani of Tampa. According to WFLA , Ms. Lalani won the top prize from the $500 A Week For Life Scratch-off game. Ms. Lalani purchased her winning ticket from the Express Mart, located at 2000 Drew Street in Clearwater.
Acccording to the Florida Lottery, the $500 A Week For Life Scratch-off game was launched in July 2019 and features more than $19 million in total cash prizes. Lalani selected to receive her payment in annual installments of $26,000 a year, for a minimum of 20 years.
The second lucky winner to report is from Polk County. According to ABC Action News, Mr. Earl Eaton of Davenport claimed one of the top prizes of $1 Million in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game. Earl played the The Fastes Road To $1,000,000 scratch-off game, and won the $1 million dollar grand prize.
Mr. Davenport purchased his $30 scratcher ticket from RaceTrac, at 38425 U.S. Highway 27 in Davenport. The Fastest Road To $1,000,000, was launched in February and features over $948 million in cash prizes!
It’s truly amazing that there have been so many lucky lottery tickets spread throughout Tampa and the surrounding areas. It serves as motivation for folks to keep trying when, you see your friends and neighbors having such good luck.
So, whatever the reason for the recent influx of winners in our area, it’s nice to have such good news to report on. As people keep winning, I’ll continue to report about it. Happy news is the best kind of news!
