Publix Stores To Close Earlier Starting Saturday
With the coronavirus situation keeping many at home, the need for extra groceries has kept employees at Publix busy. The hunt for toilet paper has been the source of frustration and jokes on social media. Tonight the grocery chain tweeted that workers will need extra time to “conduct additional preventative sanitation” and fill their shelves back up. Therefore starting tomorrow (March 14, 2020), stores will close earlier than usual at 8pm.
To better serve our customers, give our store teams time to conduct additional preventive sanitation and restock product on our shelves, beginning Saturday, March 14 we will adjust store and pharmacy hours companywide to close at 8 p.m. until further notice. pic.twitter.com/Lc0jRLtZwh
