Enjoy Live Music, Art and A Wheel of Cheese In St. Pete
Tampa Bay Today host Kurt Shriner offered up his tips as a St. Pete resident on this week’s episode of Experience Tampa Bay in Ten Minutes or Less.
Shriner starts your tour of St. Pete with a drink on Beach Drive. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants to explore. His favorite is Flute and Dram, where you can sit outside and enjoy some of its signature Champagne or whiskey. After, walk around the waterfront and see some art and visit the Dalí Museum. There, you’ll find the largest art collection of famed artist Salvador Dalí available to the public.
Next head to 1st Avenue for an abundance of shops and restaurants you can stick your head into. Shops offer a local and very unique selection of clothes and accessories. Getting hungry for dinner? Visit one of his favorite spots Gratzzi Italian Grille and order The Bada Bing. It’s an entire wheel of cheese with a sauce in the wheel. Ruby’s Elixir is a great spot to burn off the calories with live music 7 nights a week with an open dance floor. Rather have a cigar? Central Cigars is next door.
