‘Doctor Strange’: Watch The New Teaser, Including Scenes With Wanda
Doctor Strange played a prominent role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Marvel fans won’t have to wait for too long to see the sorcerer… Dr. Strange In the Multiverse of Madness will be in theaters in just a few months. A teaser was featured as one of the post-credits scenes at the end of Spider-Man, and now Marvel has released it on social media for those who haven’t yet seen Spidey’s latest film (or for those who just want to pore over it again).
The film seems to take place in the aftermath of No Way Home, and in the teaser, we hear Wong (Benedict Wong) imploring, “Don’t cast that spell: it’s too dangerous!” This implies that the spell that Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) cast in No Way Home has had greater implications. The film also takes place in the aftermath of Disney+’s Wandavision, as we see Strange approach Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and tell her, “I’m not here to talk about Westview” (if that doesn’t make sense to you, you might want to binge-watch Wandavision – it’ll be worth your time). It also looks like there’s a Doctor Strange variant, and this seems to be based on an episode of the Disney+ show What If…? (“What If Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead Of His Hands?”). The “other” Strange is seen in the trailer, grinning, “Things just got out of hand.” We also see the return of other characters for the first time since 2016’s Doctor Strange: Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and of course, Strange’s love interest, Dr. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams). Check out the movie’s poster and teaser below. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness is due in theaters on May 6, 2022.
