Local dog bar nominated for best dog bar in U.S. USA Today has just nominated The Dog Bar in St. Pete as one of the best dog bar in the country. That is a huge honor. If you’ve ever been to The Dog Bar, you know it is a really cool place to hang out with your dog. You need to vote for The Dog Bar right here in Saint Petersburg.
I’ve taken my dog, Louie, to The Dog Bar before and it was super cool. When I used to live in St. Pete, I did a ton of stuff with my dog, as St. Pete is known to be one of the friendliest dog cities in the country.
What The Dog Bar Is All About
I’ve been to this place a couple of time. I was impressed with The Dog Bar right away. It’s a membership-only sports bar and has a huge selection of beers. It also has many food truck options. There are several areas for you and your dog to hang out, along with plenty of TVs for watching sports.
They love having events and themed parties for both owner and their dog. Always celebrating holidays and events in the area. They also have foam parties for the dogs and special events geared towards dogs and making their lives more healthy. Love that this local dog bar is nominated for best dog bar in the U.S.
The first time I visited the dog bar, I loved it. Right away, I had to fill out some information on my dog and I was not allowed to come inside without proper paperwork on Louie. Louie had to be updated on shots and vaccinations. Also, they needed to make sure Louie got along ok with other dogs.
As a dog owner, that is important to me. I want to make sure that I am brining my dog to a safe place to play with other dogs. They have water bowls all over for the dogs to drink, tons of obstacles for the dogs to play on and poos to cool them off. Fans are also blowing not only for the dogs, but for the people. It’s fun to sit and have a cold one while watching your dog play.
