Jerry Springer Docuseries Coming to Netflix January 2025, Watch the Trailer Here

The trailer for the Jerry Springer docuseries "Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action" is here!  Rolling Stone says it "Goes behind the scenes of the cultural icon, from Springer's days as a mild-mannered Cincinnati mayor to hosting the most vile and grotesque freak show that’s ever been on television."  Jerry Springer & The "Trash" TV Era The Jerry Springer Show ran for 27 seasons from September 30, 1991, to July 26, 2018, and broadcasted 3,891 episodes. When the show first premiered it was a traditional talk show with a focus on political issues. It changed formats in the mid 1990s, covering more controversial topics such as cheating and incest. The docuseries will show a bit of the dark side and things that took place behind the scenes of the popular "trash" TV show. There will be clips from ex-producers, past guests, and more to discuss decisions that were made and some of the backlash that they faced throughout the years. Springer passed away on April 27, 2023, from pancreatic cancer. At the time of his death, he was also credited with creating the talk show format that later led to shows such as Maury and The Steve Wilkos Show.
