I grew up in Maine. In my first 18 years of life, I think I had one lobster roll. But I finally came around and now whenever I go home to visit, there are usually 3 or 4 spots I’ll hit for one. I torture my poor Instagram followers who are a thousand miles away here in Florida. But now my Floridians, I can put my stamp of approval on a Maine lobster roll that doesn’t require a roundtrip airfare. And the employees actually pronounce the letter “R.” Gotta give props to my buddy Sean that works at the station for suggesting this place for lunch. Honestly I wasn’t that excited at first. I’m a fan of seafood from the north… it’s gotta be cold water sweet seafood. Grouper is the one exception. But when we walked in and I looked at the menu at the new Crabby Bill’s location in St. Pete near Q105, nothing looked inspiring until I saw the Maine Lobster Roll on the menu. And bonus it was on sale for like $15 with a side. It’s more expensive than than in Portland, Maine! The garlic parmesan tater tots I chose as my side were insanely good.
